Profile flexibility
Profiles can gather many different types of information and present that information using a diverse range of views. Profiles relate to different types of skills which may be broadly categorised as being 'hard' or 'soft'. Hard skills often need to be assessed for vocational types of work where skills are acquired 'on the job' (for example, has a medical student acquired the ability to intubate a patient safely?). Such skills can be assessed in a qualitative manner and will indicate whether a sufficient level of competence has been achieved.
Everyone possesses soft skills which tend to reflect the personality of an individual. They include things like leadership, listening, negotiation and conflict management skills. Psychometric data compiled from multiple sources can be used to measure these more subjective skills in a meaningful way.
Core to the netBiog philosphy is the ability to create new profiles to meet the broadest range of customer requirements. The screen shots below illustrate some profile capabilities.
This example shows a consolidated subjective report on an individual. The contributors have rated the subject on a scale from 'weak to excellent' and have also provided a comment to support their rating. The resulting profile view gives an overall rating for each area of assessment, along with the specific information provided by the individual contributors.

More consolidated output from psychometric testing. The chart compares how an individual has rated themself, compared to how their contributors have rated them. This helps to highlight 'blind spots' (you think you are better than other people think you are) and 'hidden strengths' (other people rate you more highly than you do).
